RFID and UID label printer.      Your UID Challenge
As a supplier to the U.S. Department of Defense, it’s very likely that you must comply with the DoD’s UID marking mandate. In brief, the mandate calls for virtually all individual items supplied to the DoD that carry a serial number to bear a Data Matrix 2-D bar code containing a unique serial code. What’s more, the bar coding must last the life of the product.

Be UID compliant in 1-2-3 with Zebra’s UID Solution—consisting of:
1) Zebra Xi™ series thermal-transfer printers
2) Genuine Zebra™ supplies that have been independently tested to ensure compliance with the DoD’s requirements for UID labeling under MIL-STD-130, MIL-STD-129, and MIL-PRF-61002A
3) Zebra Designer™ Pro label design software
